Due to the declining birthrate and rapid population ageing in Taiwan, the issue of the elderly has received much attention. Not only will the national economy be affected, but the social system will also change. Elderly health and long-term care (protection) is an emerging research topic for the country, and it is related to health welfare and medical social work. It is accumulated in public health and social welfare training, and actively integrates medicine, humanities and society. Scientific resources and research into health promotion, health education, and home care (protection) issues.
